Professor Suha Muhammad Hadi, Dean of the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies, participated in the Iraqi Digital Space Forum held today, Monday, November 18, 2024.
The Institute of Informatics, affiliated with the University of Information Technology and Communications, participated in a dialogue session on artificial intelligence and its applications in Iraq and the importance of applied research for graduate students in building a suitable environment for digital transformation in Iraq, positioning it among the technological leaders. The session also highlighted the most important technical, social, and legislative obstacles, with the aim of incorporating them into the fundamentals of the national strategy launched by the Iraqi government.
In addition, the Iraqi Digital Space Forum discussed legislation and solutions in the areas of cybersecurity, e-commerce, and financial technologies, and their effectiveness, in partnership with private sector companies.
The forum was organized by the National Security Advisory and the Communications and Media Commission, in cooperation with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and the International Chamber of Commerce.
