The Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies discussed a Higher Diploma student’s project. The discussion session was held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
The student’s project, titled “Advanced Deep Learning for Real-Time Vehicle Type Recognition: A Hybrid CNN and Attention Mechanism Approach,” was discussed. This research proposes a deep learning framework known as Real-Time Vehicle Type Recognition (RTVR), consisting of five stages.
The student, Hamza Safaa Hashem, was awarded a Higher Diploma with distinction.
