The Master’s thesis of student Wrod Najmuddin Abdullah was defended at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies. The discussion session was held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
The thesis, specializing in Computer Science, was titled:
“Recognition of Children’s Handwritten Arabic Writing Through Deep Learning.”
The thesis addressed the topic of recognizing children’s Arabic handwriting using deep learning technology. The model was developed using convolutional neural networks, ensemble learning, a variable autoencoder, and a pelican optimization algorithm.
Following the discussion, student Wrod Najmuddin Abdullah received a Master’s degree with a grade of “Very Good” in Computer Science.
