The Chair of the Deans’ Committee of Faculties of Information Technology and Computer Science in Iraq, the Dean of the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies (Prof. Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi), welcomed the deans of the faculties of Information Technology and Computer Science.
At a regular meeting of the Deans’ Committee, held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the deans, chaired by (Prof. Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi), discussed several topics related to the establishment of new academic departments and the development of academic programs to keep pace with rapid developments in the fields of technological specialization. They also discussed challenges and strengthened cooperation between faculties through joint projects and academic exchange initiatives. (Prof. Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi) emphasized the importance of this regular meeting in strengthening communication and unifying visions among academic institutions specializing in modern technology in all its specializations, with the aim of raising the level of higher education in Iraq. The deans participating in the meeting were also honored by the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications (Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri). The deans praised the good organization of the meeting and the hospitality provided by the Informatics Institute at the University of Information Technology and Communications, commending the efforts made by the Chairwoman of the Committee and the University of Information Technology and Communications in following up on important files that contribute to the development of the education and information technology sector in the country.
