On October 8, 2024, the Institute of Informatics hosted Oracle’s regional representative, Mr. Tahseen Al-Bayati, who presented a dialogue seminar attended by the Scientific Assistant at the University of Information Technology and Communications, the Dean of the Institute, the Dean’s Assistants for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, and a number of faculty members and doctoral students at the Institute.
Professor Tahseen spoke about the modern technologies the company has adopted to develop its products, particularly in the field of databases and related additional technologies in the areas of information security, networks, and specialized devices.
The lecturer also addressed the importance of keeping pace with developments related to cloud computing and artificial intelligence and applying them to practical work. At the end of the seminar, the Dean of the Institute extended her sincere thanks to Mr. Tahseen Al-Bayati for his presence at the Institute and for providing useful and valuable information to our dear students.
