The Dean of the Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information and Communication Technology, Professor Suha Mohammed Hadi, participated in the second edition of the Iraqi Digital Economy Forum, which was held on October 23, 2025.
The Dean’s participation was in a special discussion session titled “The Role of Higher Education in Maximizing Digital Human Capital,” where she emphasized the necessity of supporting education to advance the digital economy in Iraq, in line with the principle that “the success of any economy begins with education.” This support includes fostering students’ skills and projects in the early stages and focusing on postgraduate research aimed at supporting the digital economy using modern technologies.
The forum discussed ways to enhance digital transformation in the global economy and exchanged expertise in the fields of financial technology and artificial intelligence. The forum brought together a select group of officials, decision-makers, experts, and pioneers of digital transformation in Iraq.
