In a generous gesture from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and with the support of the Director General of the Research and Development Department, Dr. Lubna Khamis, His Excellency approved the award of a full defense to a graduate student who had completed the defense requirements and passed away, in recognition of the efforts of graduate students.
The defense of the dissertation of the late doctoral student Raja Ahmed Ali, a student at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies at the University of Information and Communication Technology, who passed away a few days before the defense was scheduled to take place, was held today, Monday, June 23, 2025. The dissertation was titled “Preventing Cybercrimes through Digital Biometrics Forensics.”
Following the defense, the deceased was awarded a doctorate degree with a grade of “very good.”
May God have mercy on the deceased and grant her eternal peace in Paradise.
