The Master’s thesis of student (Mais Munir Abdul Ali) was discussed at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies. The discussion session was held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The study, in the field of Computer Science, is titled: “Design and Evaluation of a Decentralized Random Number Generator for Blockchain-based Applications.” This thesis explores how blockchain technology can be used to improve security, decentralization, and transparency in critical applications such as decentralized systems and cryptographic random number generation. It demonstrates the ability of blockchain technology to solve enduring issues such as immutability, trust, and data privacy, and its ability to completely transform traditional procedures. Student (Mais Munir Abdul Ali) obtained a Master’s degree with a very good grade in Computer Science.
