The Master’s thesis of the student (Hussein Salam Ali) was discussed at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies. The discussion session was held on Monday, March 3, 2025. The study, in the field of Computer Science, is titled: “Prediction of Cyber Attacks Using Machine Learning Techniques.” The research highlights the importance of the initial stages of data processing and feature selection in the intrusion detection system, to build scalable, reliable, and effective systems. The proposed methodology emphasizes the comparison of models in detecting cyber attacks by exploiting the power of machine learning and deep learning. The student (Hussein Salam Ali) obtained a Master’s degree with a very good grade in Computer Science.
