The PhD thesis of the student (Afrah Imran Musa) was discussed at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies. The discussion session was held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The thesis was in the field of Computer Science and was titled: “Grey Wolf Optimization for Multispectral Image Fusion.” In this study, three models were developed for image fusion based on integrating new deep learning techniques such as self-attention and transformers, in addition to other techniques such as wavelet transforms and optimization algorithms. The student (Afrah Imran Musa) obtained a PhD degree with a very good grade in Computer Science.
