The Institute of Informatics discusses a master’s thesis on using secret sharing to protect various types of documents. The Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies discussed the master’s thesis of the student (Ahmed Basil Majeed), and the discussion session was held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 AD. The thesis was in the field of computer science and was titled: “Using Secret Sharing to Protect Various Types of Documents between Groups of Individuals.” This thesis presented a scheme for sharing secrets to protect various types of documents between groups of individuals. The scheme consists of two main stages using Shamir secret sharing: first, the stage of distributing secret files, and second, rebuilding the secret file. The student (Ahmed Basil Majeed) obtained a master’s degree with distinction in computer science.
