On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the PhD thesis of Maryam Imran Musa, titled “Medical Disease Prediction and Classification Using Greywolf Optimization and Deep Learning,” was discussed at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies. The thesis adopted a new approach to improving disease prediction and classification using deep learning techniques, one of the artificial intelligence methodologies. The research focuses on deriving improved prediction processes for medical images as a means of medical diagnosis and patient care through knowledge sharing between computer and medical experts.
