From the heart of the Smart Cities Forum… New confirmation of the role of higher education in building a smart, digital Iraq!

In a dialogue session rich in information and ideas within the Smart Cities Forum, we had a special session with Professor Dr. Suha Mohammed Hadi, Dean of the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications.

In her speech, Dr. Suha emphasized that:

“Institutes and universities are not only centers of learning, but are also the true incubators of modern technologies and a platform for launching smart city projects in Iraq.”

She spoke about graduation projects and research dissertations implemented by students at the Institute, which addressed real and innovative solutions in urban services management, smart data, and digital transformation applications in institutions.

The Institute’s participation in the forum affirmed its commitment to strengthening the relationship between scientific research and societal needs, and to actively contribute to building smart and sustainable Iraqi cities.

We are proud of our role and are confidently moving forward towards the digital future.
