At the official invitation of the Presidency of Al-Farabi University and in coordination with the Office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Dr. Suha Mohammed Hadi, Dean of the Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications, participated as a keynote speaker in the scientific symposium and professional training course entitled: “Artificial Intelligence in Media Monitoring, Content Creation, and Decision-Making.” The event was held at the university and attended by a select group of academic leaders and representatives from the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and the Government Communication Team.
Dr. Hadi presented a specialized paper focusing on “Iraqi Media: Transformations and Challenges” in light of the digital revolution. She reviewed scientific perspectives on how to utilize smart technologies to develop the media work system, emphasizing the importance of transitioning from traditional monitoring to intelligent monitoring based on big data analysis to support decision-making.
This participation comes within the framework of joint cooperation between academic institutions and government entities to enhance technological integration. The symposium discussed several key topics, including:
Monitoring and Follow-up: Analyzing Interactions and Trends and Measuring Public Opinion Automatedly. Content production: Generating texts, reports, and designing media using artificial intelligence techniques.
Smart marketing: Predicting audience behavior and optimizing digital media campaigns.
